A Little About Me

Seattle is my proudly adopted home, but I was born and raised in the Midwest. Though I grew up in the heartland, I am half Asian-Indian by way of my father, who came to the United States via Singapore. As such, my upbringing was unavoidably global, which explains much of where I’ve been, and what I like to spend my time thinking about.

This unique combination of identities energizes me. I love country music, the English Premier League, Euro board games, and IPAs, to name just a few things that get me rambling.

My
Perspective

I graduated from University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.A in Political Science, Economics, and U.S. History in 2015.

I spent the majority of my professional years in my twenties at PitchBook Data, helping to build the best private market data platform in the business, and analyzing VC-backed emerging technologies.

Then I returned to academia, graduating in 2023 with a Masters in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Public Policy.
